Fixed-Wing Simulator
Diamond DA-42 Simulator
The Diamond DA42 ATD simulator at USATS is our FAA approved advanced ATD trainer that allows our students to transfer a more significant amount of learning from this training device to the actual aircraft.
As a ‘one of a kind’ simulator based of the G1000XI and DA42 trainer it allows a high-quality level of training at a more cost-effective option than completing all of your training in our actual DA42 aircraft.
Additionally, it is a great G1000 trainer regardless of the aircraft you fly.
Here is an example of how many hours of FAA approved simulator training you can use on this advanced DA42 ATD device while working toward your desired qualification:
-
Log 2.5 hours towards your PPL (Private Pilot License)
-
Log 20 hours towards your Instrument Rating
-
Log 25 hours towards your ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)
-
Log 50 hours towards your CPL (Commercial Pilot License)
