Alien Flight School Fingerprinting: Flight school candidates -- The following steps are required PRIOR to scheduling your fingerprint appointment:


  • You must pay for the fingerprint in advance and print the following documents to bring with you to your appointment:

    • NATA Fingerprint Form with the AV Number and Barcode located in the top right hand corner of the page

    • Login to your AFSP Account to retrieve and print the TSA Email with the following subject - "Action: Fingerprint Instructions for Training Request 9999999." The TSA Email is approximately 9 pages long. If you have any issues retrieving the required documents, you must contact your flight school or NATA Compliance Services at 800-788-3210. The USATS Fingerprinting Office is ONLY a fingerprinting facility, it does NOT have access to retrieve/print any AFSP documents.


  • Once you have paid for and printed the above mentioned documents, you may email the Fingerprinting Office at lwhittaker@usatsolutions.com


  • In your appointment request email, please provide the following information:

    • Confirm you have paid the fingerprinting fee and printed the NATA Fingerprinting Form & 9 page TSA email.

    • Provide the name of the Flight School you will be attending.

    • Indicate if you prefer morning or afternoon appointments.

  • You will receive an email response with the date and time of your appointment. Please note: AFSP Fingerprint appointment are based on availability.


  • Please arrive on time for your appointment and provide the above mentioned printed documents along with the following forms of ID:

    • ORIGINAL valid passport

    • ORIGINAL Permanent Resident Card, U.S. VISA, or State ID/Driver's License

  • PLEASE NOTE: Failure to arrive to your appointment on time, failure to provide the required printed documents, and/or present the required identifications will result in your appointment being rescheduled for the next available fingerprinting day.


  • Your appointment may take 15-30 minutes to be completed.
